If you're religiously insane, as so many are, you'll love this book. I laughed 'til I cried. The first thing he talks about is how all science must be proven beyond a doubt to be accepted as fact. Having done that, the rest of what I read, and presumably the rest of the book, works from the ASSumption that God exists (which "he" doesn't) and that the Bible is the ultimate authority. And the one part of his math that I read, about the human population doubling every 30 years, is moronic. He bases it on powers of 2, which works if you're counting your own ancestors, because we all have 2 parents, but it doesn't apply at all to the total human population. If this is the best the religious whackos can do to disprove evolution, they're only proving that evolution is a fact (which it is).
This book would make an interesting case study for anyone beginning a PhD and looking to improve their critical thinking skills. The author provides 50 "proofs". However, the author's use of the word "proof" is a little fast and loose by today's standards or even the scientific standards set in the author's era. Each proof has the kind of serious flaws that a journal reviewer should be skilled in catching.

For example, the author's first proof is, he claims, a rigorous mathematical one. If people have two to three offspring and new generations appears every ~30 years, how many years would it take to grow from a population of 2 people to today's population of some billion people? His answer is about 5000. This reasoning is fairly sound, however the author goes on to state QED the evolution of man, if it exists, has taken approximately 5000 years.

To point out the obvious firstly, this model provides only an approximation of a lower bound on the duration of the evolution of mankind, and excludes possibilities such as resource and environmental constraints leading to limits on population sizes growth (which may cause populations to grow or shrink).
If we followed the author's model and reasoning, we would expect the Earth to by consumed by a soup of microbial organisms some miles thick within our lifetimes.
Secondly, the author claims that his reasoning bears the irrefutablility of a mathematical proof. What the author presented was a mathematical model only. If the model has flaws, you must question whether the proofs determined within its context have any validity.

The author also likes to wag his finger at evolutionists as being unable to honestly follow the scientific method. I didn't get too far through the book, but its good for a laugh on a rainy day.
Could hardly be more inane yet amusing to read.
The word ( scientifically ) duzint mean what the writer seems to think it means. But that may just be me. At no point, no line, no phrase, no pause, no quip, no blip, no spot nor dot was the Common Ancestor Relationship between the gorilla, the human and the monkey even faintly refuted or slightly untied in the mind of one possessing a basic level understanding of mammalian evolution presented in a 21st century Jr High School Biology textbook. To re-enforce the bias of those previously misled to reject the current findings of science investigation, these 50 might provide some sandbagging effect against the waves of knowledge ever trying to breach the crumbling castle walls of ignorance.
Although I did not agree, I gave it 5 stars because it was well written and thought out that offered an alternative point of view.
The author has obviously done a significant amount of research. He is probably more familiar with the tenets of evolution than most who teach it. The points he makes, especially those based on mathematics, are very convincing. I was certain of the falsehood of evolution before reading this book, and even more sure now.

I do find the title and introductory premise a bit misleading. To be sure, there are quite a number of excellently presented "proofs" that evolution as presented could not possibly be true. But there are also a number of chapters that are quite a bit less than scientific. Make no mistake, I agree with almost all of what is written here, but it is not a purely scientific book.

I was quite disappointed by chapter 24, which seems to be an attempt to retell the story of creation while allowing for time lapses and other differences that are simply not present in the Bible text. I might need to read that chapter again.

We'll worth reading in spite of the flaws.

The chapter dealing with the author's desire to spread the word through his book was somewhat amusing, showing the age of the book through the prices mentioned.
I have been on the evolution side of the debate and so i wanted to see what arguments were used against evolutionist before many of the evidence skeletons have been found. Many of the views are completely wrong but thats only because we have new science or information that he most likely wouldn't have known or wasnt known at all; example, believing the sun is similar to a fireplace and not a fusion reaction and so its entertaining to read these views that don't exist anymore. Overall though, i completely enjoyed the read and see the arguments from the other side of the debate.
